Experimentation

These are my first sketch of snowballs. I'd like to make another snowball and character in the future. I could make more and more, it would be a series of the children animation and I want to treat their psychological tense and make their stress less than before by watching those animations. For that, I need to collect many beautiful scenery pictures of the world. In my opinion, the memories of childhood is so strong that influence their entire of life.

To make my animation's environment, I collected many references and tried many colours but finally I choose white coloured ground(definitely should be because this is the story of snowball!). In addition, I really want to put some waterfall in the background but it was not easy to make it in proper way. So I tried a lot of way to look cool and cute and finally I draw like the last animation. The mushrooms are quite look unreal and characteristic but I love my last idea. I want to make some other stories about mushrooms.

For my character, I made this 3D rabbit by using Maya. I wanted to check my character with 3 dimensions correctly for my walking first scene. However, it was not easy to rig them because the joints of this characters are not arranged properly. So I just made it and use as a reference. The ear part looks different, however, ear could be more flexible than body so I just followed my original sketch.
